Amelia is active in a number of non profit work including rescue organisations and is the cochair of the World Economic Forum’s Council of Sustainable Financial System. As a mother, she is very passionate about Waldorf education and supports the Centre wholeheartedly.
Professionally she has been in global management roles in banking leading strategy and corporate development. She is currently the CEO of a financial services company and also a board supervision of a securities company.
Amelia
Ruksheen joined the Waldorf Steiner Education Association of Singapore in January 2019 as the Assistant Teacher, Nursery. In 2022 she led the Nursery class and in 2023 she led the Kindergarten class. She's learnt under several Waldorf mentors over the last 4 years and 10 months. She has completed the RSP (Certificate - Relief Staff Programme) from Seeds Institute and worked at Eton House @223 Mountbatten, as Assistant Teacher to the Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes. In addition, she holds a Degree in Commerce, a Diploma from I.A.T.A (International Air Travel Association) and a Secretarial Diploma.
Her passions include children, knitting and crochet, felting. She enjoys working as a team and gives her 100% to the children under her care.
Ruksheen
Born in Singapore and having gone through the local education system, Andrea strongly advocates an all-rounded nature-based early years education where children are given the freedom to make organic discoveries and develop independently at their own pace. Her two sons Finn and Toby have been enroled with Waldorf Early Years since 2020.
With over 15 years of integrated marketing experience from her advertising agency days consulting Fortune 500 MNCs on their digital and social strategies, Andrea now volunteers her expertise for the school, sitting on the Waldorf Early Years Executive Committee. A marine conservation enthusiast at heart, Andrea has created several successful conservation programs and now works at an international environmental conservation NGO.
